Overview
Shree Mangaladevi Seva Samithi was established in 1969 and has been developing with the grace of Lord Shree Mangaladevi and Lord Ganesha.
The Samithi is located near Shree mangaladevi Temple, Mangaladevi, Bolar. The basic objective of the Samithi is to serve in all the activities related to Sri mangaladevi Temple. The Samithi began its activities by organising Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava in the year 1970 at Mangaladevi Temple premises and also celebrated its first Annual day in the same year under the able guidance and Leadership of late Narayana Karkera, the first Preseident of the Samithi. Over the past 44 years, Samithi has been celebrating Sarvajanika ganeshotsava with Devotion and pride.

During ganeshotsava celebrations an idol of lord will be built with ……. , with a height of feet. The idol will be decorated using silver keerita, sondilu patti, large ears, snake belt, kadaga for fore hands and two legs, trishula, big prabavali (behind the idol). golden ear rings, sindilu patti, naama, braslite and many more ornaments.
The Samithi also celebrates the occasion of Laksha Deepotsava at Mangaladevi Temple by building a temporary running gurji in which (refer paper cutting) Sarvajanika Satyanarayana pooja will be organized on Prathista huniime (In the Month of December).
